Update: RNO token swap
We have some updates regarding last week’s events and the exploit our community, and we, have experienced.
To protect all of our token holders we have decided to do a token swap, from our current RNO token to a newly created RNO token. To read more about why this was necessary, check out our previous article.
After careful deliberation and analysis, this option proved to be the best one in order to recover the stolen RNO tokens from the attacker, and give them back to their rightful owners.
Additionally, a decision was made to solely focus on the BNB Chain (Binance Smart Chain, or BSC). We will not be relaunching the RNO token on the Binance Chain. The BNB Chain provides far more options and benefits, and it’s more user-friendly to anyone who is new on Earneo.
How will the swap work?
There will be two ways for our users to receive their new RNO token, depending on if they hold the BEP2 or BEP20 tokens.
RNO-BEP20:
- If you’re holding your RNO on BEP20 and you have them staked, unstake them and keep them stored in your wallet.
*Early unstaking fees have been reduced to 1%.
2. If you are not staking your RNO, and you’re holding them in your wallet, simply keep them there. There are no additional steps you need to take.
